Don't just take our word for it

“Congratulations Jason, I have a friend on Edmonton fire (whom I volunteered with) that recommended you and your genuine approach toward mental health.
Unfortunately there are many that preach mental health and resiliency, but their actions indicate they are blowing off a lot of hot air. I can tell from several people I know and trust that have attended your sessions, you have a genuine passion for mental health preservation and this is not just empty preaching.”

“Our members were introduced to Jason Luchko from mPathfocus in 2022. We reached out as some of our membership were struggling with some of the calls they had recently attended. Jason was able to come to Slave Lake and Smtih and spend time with our members and their spouses. He was able to speak as a first responder, on a level we could all associate with. The amount of knowledge, compassion and desire to help us was truly something we have not been able to experience.
Since the first meeting, Jason and his wife Shari have made a couple of trips back to work with us. When he’s not able to come in person, Jason is always a text or phone call away. He pays attention to what is happening in our area and will often reach out to check on all of us before we have even returned to the fire station. That, along with many other top notch qualities Jason brings to us to help build our mental health program, is the reason we will continue to work with Jason and mPathfocus.
In the fire service we are all a family, and Jason and Shari will always be a part of our Lesser Slave Regional Fire Service and Lesser Slave Lake Search and Rescue family.”

We took The Working Mind course through Mpath focus with Jay and it truly exceeded expectations. The material was practical and relatable, especially for first responders — but what really stood out was Jay’s ability to connect with the group in such a real and grounded way.
My boyfriend, who’s never been into mental health stuff, walked away so impressed he’s now considering joining our department’s peer support team. That’s a huge shift — all thanks to how Jay delivered the course.
We even went for dinner with him afterward, which says a lot about the kind of person he is. Down-to-earth, passionate, and genuinely invested in making a difference. We can’t recommend Mpath focus and Jay enough.
Jason from mPath Focus delivered one of the most impactful sessions I’ve attended. It wasn’t generic or surface-level. This was tailored specifically to our group - First Responders serving rural communities.
What stood out most was the honest dialogue—real stories we could relate to, and a real acknowledgment of the stigmas that still exist around mental health in our field. Jason didn’t just talk at us; he engaged us. He gave us practical, usable tools to build a resilience toolkit—tools we can use before, during, and after critical incidents (even the ones that feel like a punch in the face).
Despite how often we hear about mental health these days, recognizing it in ourselves and our peers still isn’t easy. Today’s session was that much-needed nudge. A reminder that it’s okay to not be okay—and that there’s help and support out there, starting with each other.
I left with more awareness, more curiosity, and a renewed commitment to support my team… like Piglet. (If you know, you know—and if you don’t, attend a workshop.)
Highly recommend.
